Sticky Chicken Wings

INGREDIENTS:

4 tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon black pepper

fresh garlic- ginger paste

1/2 cup water

4 tablespoons honey

sesame seeds

salt

spring onions

chicken wings (broiler)

OVERNIGHT PREPARATION

In a bowl, mix the ginger- garlic paste,black pepper, soy sauce, a pinch of salt and water to make a thick paste.

Add in the chicken wings and mix well with the paste.

Ensure all the wings are evenly covered with the paste.

Cover the bowl with a foil and put it in the fridge overnight to marinate.

PROCEDURE (NEXT DAY)

Put 2 tablespoons of vegetable / castor oil on a pan.

Add the honey and stir until the mixture starts to boil.

One by one, put in the wings and reduce the heat to low.

Keep turning the wings to ensure that they do not burn.

Continue until the oil/homey mix reduces to a thick sticky paste.

Make sure the wings are cooked well.

Garnish with sesame seeds and spring onions.

sauted veggies
