About me

I remember watching telly when I was young and i was so fascinated by how people would nature their talents at a young age , to the point of "going places" through it. For me, the only things that I considered as talents were two:

1) Running the marathon

2) Music festival poets

I recall the way my parents were old schools' who believed in the 8-4-4 system and after graduating , you were expected to get a white collar job. To them that was their ultimate satisfaction, I mean, at least they knew that your job security was guaranteed.

Fortunately I managed to complete all these levels in due course and got a job in one of the best public services offices  in town, but for some reason i just had a hard time at the office. Waking up daily to the same environment, same people and  same routine got a little bit too boring for me.

The only thing i would think of is food.

I would really look forward to the weekends so as to invite my friends or some of my family members in order to cook or try new recipes and make them my lab rats.( And BTW, something funny is that i never cook for myself, i always have to cook for someone, so that i get feedback). One of my cousins used to really praise my cooking skills to a point that i thought that he was " chocharing" me. 

I've always had an interest in food experiments mpaka i remember most of my friends started joking around saying that they would never eat my food because they were never sure what the meal contained( lets just say that i love thinking outside the box when it comes to recipes sometimes, more of an open minded person when it comes to mashakura).

For some reason each time i go to any of my friends' place i always find myself cooking.

In short, i am now 25 years old( i need to get married already, hehe!). I cant really say if this is a talent or its a passion, what i know is that i saw a quote online and it said " if you think about something effortlessly, then do not be shy to pursue it". To be honest, i am always thinking about food experiments and am always on youtube checking out food channels ( Miss Mandi Throwdown and Chef Ali Mandry etc)90% of my time and the remaining 10% i divide between makeup videos and movies..ooh and Nairobi Diaries.

Two of my friends and a certain cousin of mine have always been telling me how my food is good and that i should consider doing something with the passion i have.

SO HERE I AM!!!!!!

With all that being said, we can all conclude that i am just a simple 25 year old girl trying to make her vision into a reality.
